Dreaming of Einstein's Dream
Remember Einstein's theory that life is three-dimensional?
That in another dimension you are actually living another life because somewhere, sometime in your life you took the opposite way of the bifurcation. One of the series of forks that life presents to you, that is.
Also the reason why we have this phenomena called deja vu. Only two of the universe's long list mysteries. My favorite as such is the concept of karma.
But not to roam too far away from my topic today, call me crazy as everybody does, but I do feel that in another dimension I am living a different life. Relocated somewhere else, mingling with a different set of people, and doing a different work.
It's not so much simplier than what I have now. Just more defined.
No, I don't have regrets with the choices I've made. But you sometimes wish things could've turned out differently.
Funny as it sounds, I take comfort in these thoughts. That in a parallel universe I've made better choices, I'm more independent, and probably more resilient. Braver.
If you must know, the third dimesion the genius was talking about is that at one point the first two dimensions will meet... I'm not sure where it goes from there. Probably another fork you have to ponder on.
Still, when mornings become too much to face I throw my faith in the laws of the universe. That somehow in some way the elements are finding ways to bring balance to my force :)
Help me, Obi Wan Kenobi, you're my only hope.
